Support for jazz and vocal arts in Ukraine

Another way Energobank gives back to the community is by supporting jazz and vocal arts in Ukraine. The bank has sponsored such notable events as Koktebel Jazz Festival 2007 and Vocal Zone 2008, an international a cappella music festival dedicated to Volodymyr Mikhnovetsky. Energobank has also helped with the release of albums by the young pianist and composer Alexander Boholyubov and the a cappella group ManSound.

 

 

Koktebel (Crimea, Ukraine) has been hosting the annual festival Contemporary World and Jazz Music since 2003. Notable guests have included: Stanley Clarke, Archie Shepp, Richard Galliano, Billy Cobham, Red Snapper, De Phazz, Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra, and Us3. The mastermind and organizer of the festival is Promo.Ua (Kyiv).
